MyClarins Skincare Review July 17, 2019
Clarins has existed for as long as I can remember. For years, I had the impression that it was a luxurious brand for ‘madames’, perhaps because the logo seemed very corporate and the dull red didn’t exude fun. Products weren’t within my reach financially, seeing that I was but a child and couldn’t even fathom dishing out $100 on a single skincare product. Years later, Clarins is still not top-of-mind for me, but they recently launched MyClarins, and I was definitely intrigued. I received two products from the line to review, and right away from the packaging, I can tell that it’s a line targeted to a younger audience.
Here’s everything that you need to know about MyClarins. It’s a vegan skincare line all about naturality. Products are made with healthy, natural ingredients such as plant and fruit extracts to provide natural goodness and glow to your skin. Its vegan-friendly skincare formulae are as cruelty-free and organic as possible. They’re free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates, and MyClarins won’t be sold in countries that require animal testing.
From the formula to the eco-conscious packaging, MyClarins is doing good to your skin as it is to the environment. Each box is made of recycled cardboard from sustainably-managed forests. This is a new generation of vegan skincare and a great entry to luxury skincare for young women, as the price points are a lot more accessible.
No matter your skin type, there’s a product for you! I received the Re-Boost Refreshing Hydration Cream and the Re-Fresh Hydrating Beauty Mist courtesy of ChickAdvisor for review and I’m very impressed.
Re-Boost Refreshing Hydrating Cream
Hydration without any thick sticky remnants is key for me when selecting a moisturizer. Typically when a cream comes in a jar, its texture is thicker, which means it’s suitable for drier skin. Since I have acne-prone skin, I was a little concerned since I’m used to using creams that are fluid. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how light and melting the Re-Boost Refreshing Hydrating Cream is. Its gel consistency absorbs nicely and it contains tamarind fruit extract to help refine the skin’s texture. It’s designed to keep skin fresh all day long and give it energy and moisture boost thanks to its blend of fig extract and goji berry.

Re-Fresh Hydrating Beauty Mist
When you need a little refreshing pick-me-up, the Re-Fresh Hydrating Beauty Mist is your answer! Its floral-fruity scent is so divine and gives your complexion a boost of hydration when it’s starting to feel dull. Ingredients-wise, it contains coconut water, fig extract, alpenrose extract and Robina flower water. This is perfect to awaken the skin in the morning and to revitalize it throughout the day. I really enjoy that the spritz is light and gentle on the skin, there’s just enough product that comes out of the spray bottle to give your skin a boost without drenching it or running your makeup.
SRP: $22 for 100mL
I’m completely swooned by MyClarins and I’m positive that you’ll be too! Let me know in the comments below which products you’ve tried from the line!
