Sweet Oak Subscription Box Review July 3, 2018
I’m huge on natural products and love an opportunity to discover brands that offer such products, especially anything that promotes well-being. Sweet Oak is a Canadian company that allows Canadians to test all-natural and all-Canadian products through their subscription program. I was contacted to review their June box and was thrilled to receive the goodies.
Each box contains 4-5 natural products created by Canadian businesses. The June box consisted of a tea, perfume, bath salt and a body moisturizer.
I love drinking a strong cup of tea and this is a new brand that I haven’t heard of before. Tease Tea in Duchess of Earl is creamy and flavourful. I added a dash of almond milk and it’s the perfect breakfast or evening dessert beverage.

Duckish creates natural handmade skincare products ranging from bath salts to body butters. The brand includes organic ingredients at every opportunity they get. I don’t get to indulge in baths a lot but when I do, I always use bath salts. Duckish’s Citrus Bath Salts is a great body detox that will cleanse the day away. The air is infused with the smell of citrus and the skin is left hydrated thanks to the sweet almond oil, organic coconut oil and a blend of essential oils.
SRP: $8.99
Duckish’s Body Butter in pink grapefruit has a rich whipped cream texture. The scent is subtle but doesn’t smell too citrusy or grapefruit-y. Since it’s made with 75% shea butter, it would be a body cream more suitable for the cold season to hydrate very dry skin.
SRP: $14.99
Red Lemon‘s Heavenly Bloomers is a natural roll-on perfume that’s in a small and convenient glass bottle. The roll-on tip makes it easy to apply to the skin. It strongly smells like vanilla but also has rose, ylang-ylang and sandalwood. I believe perfumes are very personal so like all other perfumes, you’ll either love it or hate it. Vanilla isn’t my scent of choice, but this has a long-lasting hold on the skin.
