Lately, I’ve been looking forward to the weekend. Yes, for gatherings, bbq’s and festivals, but mainly to be able to wear shorts since I can’t during the week at work. Old Navy is the only place where I can find shorts that fit me well. I’m petite and don’t have the longest nor skinniest legs so finding some that aren’t too tight or that gape in the back is very difficult. I stopped by Old Navy one day and I hit the jackpot!
I love these shorts with a scallop-hem and an elasticized waistband. They’re comfy and can be casual or dressy. They also have pockets! I got every single colour and pattern that was available. Since they’re a linen-blend, they’re lightweight for even the hottest days.
Old Navy’s denim jeans have a nice stretch and come in many different washes and finishes. They have cuffed leg openings and practical front and back pockets.
Some are clean slates and others have a more distressed look, which I love. It gives off a more casual attire for a picnic or a day date. These are mid-rise shorts, but they fall at my hips so tucked tanks and tops stay in place.
