Old Navy OOTD – What I’ve Been Wearing Lately May 23, 2018
Now that we’re finally getting some nice weather, I decided to place a big order online at one of my favourite stores, Old Navy. When I was younger, I perceived Old Navy as being more of a store that families shopped at for basic clothing. Although this still rings true, they have so much more to offer! They have trendy pieces at such affordable prices! I don’t quite follow the latest fashion trends, but rather what makes me comfortable.
I’m a simple kind of gal and love that these Scallop-Hem Linen-Blend Soft Shorts dress up such a minimalist look. These are a pastel pink linen shorts with an elastic waistband so they’re comfy and hug my waist without making me feel constrained. There are functional slant pockets in the front and decorative ones in the back. They are so lightweight that they’re great even on the hottest days.
They come in other colours as well (I’ll feature them on the blog in a bit!) and they’re honestly great for a day to evening look while in the city or even on vacation. They retail at $35 but they constantly have discounts so I got them for a steal at less than $20.
I wore a white tank that I tucked in for a sophisticated look, but a simple white tee can be worn for a more casual vibe. As for footwear, I wore these rose gold sandals from Aldo Shoes but a pair of Converses, pumps or even flat would work well with the look.
