I may be getting a little ahead of myself in starting my spring cleaning and redecorating, but we’re already less than ten days away from March. Someone tell me, where did the time go?!
Needless to say, it’s a great opportunity for me to declutter and to revamp my little space in the house, my bedroom. The process is a gradual one and I think it’s best to do it that way. For one, it’s done in this manner because I’m very selective in the items I purchase to fill every inch and corner of my room, but it also allows me to figure out what I can keep and what I should purchase to ensure that at the end of the transformation, it all comes together.
I have a monochromatic theme going on with accents of blush and gold, which I adore. It’s very clean and sophisticated that is fitting all-year round. My wardrobe is full of neutral colours and so it just goes to show that the chosen concept is very me. My go-to places to get items are Indigo, Winners and Homesense. These are my happy places and you’ll find me browsing the aisles at least once a week.
The redecorating is an ongoing process, but I created an inspiration board for home accents that works as a wish list as well. There are so many things that I love on American websites, but since I live in Canada, companies either don’t ship north of the border or I would have to pay a crazy amount in shipping and duties. For now, I’ll keep my eyes peeled on similar items, but I wanted to share my loves with you!
