Apple Cider Vinegar is known for its positive health benefits. It helps to remedy acid reflux, lower blood sugar and improve your heart health. I recently discovered that your hair can also benefit from it. Hask reached out to me to try some of their wonderful products and I was so intrigued when I stumbled upon their Apple Cider Vinegar rinse and conditioner.
It was the first that I came across a hair care product specific for your scalp. Not only does it rid build-up from your scalp, but it also helps to restore and strengthen your hair, leaving it soft and frizz-free. The organic collection is free of sulfates, parabens, phthalate, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colours. It’s kind for colour treated hair.
The Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Buildup Removing Rinse lifts away any buildup and gunk that remains of your scalp even after shampooing without stripping it from natural oils. It’s rich in antioxidants to help clarify, rebalance and refresh hair. The first trial was a little challenging since I was squirting a very fluid product into my hand, as you would for regular shampoo. I changed my method and squirted it directly onto my scalp, starting at the top and working my way onto the sides, behind my ears and towards my neck. I made sure to really massage it onto the scalp, covering every square inch of my head so that the product was well distributed. It rinsed off really easily and it didn’t leave a deposit or a greasy feeling.
The Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Lightweight Conditioner was applied the tips to help smooth and seal cuticles. I love the fact that my hair feels clean and shiny without being weighed down.
I look forward to using this treatment weekly, and when I want to treat myself, I’ll do it twice a week. My scalp feels so fresh, clean and cared for. Have you tried Hask’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar collection, or have you used straight up Apple Cider Vinegar on your hair yet? Let me know your thoughts!
