This isn’t the first appearance of Belif Skincare products on the blog. I recently had the opportunity to discover even more products from this Korean beauty brand and I’m in love! I’ve established a solid skincare regime for my acne-prone skin with these products, from cleansing to moisturizing. There’s even a mask for those days that you just need a little r&r.
Their products are formulated without parabens, sulfates or phthalates. You can also have peace in mind that they’re free of mineral oil, petrolatum, synthetic preservatives, dyes, fragrances, and animal origin ingredients.
One of my all-time favourite facial cleansers is the Crystal Cleansing Foam Fresh, a gel texture that lathers and foams quickly but rinses off so effortlessly. It removes impurities and leaves my skin so refreshed and clean without feeling tight or dry. Its formula contains Soapberry, an ingredient that helps to rid away excess sebum and to deeply cleanse pores.
With a clean canvas, it’s time to moisturize. I first use their cult product, the True Cream Aqua Bomb. It has a super lightweight and gel texture that it acts as a serum for me to deeply moisturize my skin. It also minimizes the appearance of pores for smooth, soft and radiant skin.
I follow up with the Oil Control Moisturizer Fresh, which controls oil, refines pores and leaves the skin hydrated without any sticky residue. It quickly absorbs into the skin and allows me to either apply my makeup in the morning or treat my blemishes before going to bed.
Every other day, I’ll use the First Aid Transforming Peel-Off Mask when my skin is feeling a little dull and in need of a little TLC. It’s a smooth gel cream that applies on clear, exfoliates dead skin cells and minimizes the appearance of pores. Formulated with a natural salicylic acid of lemon balm and white willow bark, the product helps to clarify and soothe the skin. 15 minutes later, you rinse it while peeling it off to reveal clear and soft skin.
I’ve noticed that I have had fewer breakouts and my skin isn’t as oily throughout the day once I changed my skincare routine. It’s also important to completely take off the day and cleanse your face from any residual makeup on the daily. It’s also imperative to clean your makeup brushes to avoid bacteria build-up that can further irritate or cause breakouts. Hydration and a clean nutritional diet doesn’t hurt, and will only improve your skin’s texture and bring out your natural glow!
